How to Wash Your Product
Follow these six steps for a thorough, safe clean.
Remove the cover
Most Dream SoftPlay products have zip-off fabric covers. Unzip and remove the cover from the foam core before washing.
Machine wash the cover
Wash covers on a gentle cycle at 30°C (cold). Use a mild, fragrance-free detergent. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or dry-clean solvents.
Air dry — never tumble dry
Lay covers flat or hang to air dry in a ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Tumble drying can shrink or distort the fabric.
Spot clean the foam core
If the foam core needs cleaning, use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap. Do not submerge foam in water — it can take days to dry and may develop mould.
Dry fully before reassembling
Ensure both the cover and foam core are completely dry before zipping the cover back on. Reassembling while damp can cause odours.
Rezip and enjoy
Once fully dry, refit the cover over the foam core, zip it up, and your product is ready for action.

Avoid prolonged sun exposure
Extended direct sunlight can fade fabric colours over time. Store products away from windows when not in use.
Act fast on spills
Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub — blotting lifts the liquid without spreading it.
Use gentle cleaning products only
Harsh chemicals, bleach, or solvent-based cleaners can damage the fabric coating and degrade the foam over time.
Store correctly when not in use
Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid stacking heavy items on top of foam products for extended periods, as this can compress the foam permanently.
Check zips and seams regularly
Inspect zips and stitching every few months. Contact us if you notice any wear — we can advise on repair or replacement covers.
Use a waterproof liner for babies
For use with very young children, we recommend placing a waterproof liner between the foam and cover for added protection against spills and accidents.
